Kleos ("we", "our", "the service") is a web-based platform that helps users create personal memoir books using AI-assisted writing. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
You provide written or voice responses to guided prompts about your life or the life of a family member. Our AI processes these responses to produce polished memoir chapters. You retain full ownership of the stories and content you provide and the AI-generated output based on your input.
You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. If you are creating a memoir on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their consent to share their stories on this platform.
You own the stories, memories, and personal information you provide to the service. You also own the AI-generated memoir chapters created from your input. We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your personal stories to train AI models. We do not sell, license, or share your memoir content with any third parties.
Your text and voice inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This is solely to generate your memoir chapters. Anthropic does not retain your inputs for training purposes under their API terms. We do not store voice recordings — only the transcribed text is saved.
Kleos offers one-time purchase tiers (Standard and Premium). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service. To request a refund, contact us at the email provided below.
You may delete your memoir and all associated chapters at any time from your dashboard. You may request full account deletion by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all your data including memoir content, chapters, and personal information will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
You may not use the service to create content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. You may not use automated tools to scrape or access the service. You may not share your account credentials with others or resell access to the service.
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Your memoir data remains accessible and downloadable as long as your account is active.
The service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
